Teater Awek Chuck Taylor

The day that i've waited for so long was finally arrived..

Pementasan Teater Awek Chuck Taylor (ACT)..

Actually i bought the tickets for first show..

memang best..disebabkan pementasan ni adalah sempena PJ Laugh Fest so, teater ni jadi teater komedi instead of love story...

Tapi pelakon-pelakon nya semua memang talented kot..ye la..bakat-bakat muda yang memang tengah naik dan sememangnya berbakat..

Seriously i enjoy sangat...lebih-lebih lagi bila dah lama tak join teater..so disebabkan nak melepaskan gian nonton teater ni, so i decided to go for one more round on the last day..yup!! i went to watch ACT twice...the first and last show..nasib baik ada tiket lagi untuk slot akhir tu...

Too bad juga masa first show tu my hp's camera is not working well so i only got blurred pictures..So, on the next show i brought along my digital camera (yes..im still using digital camera and i know im soooo outdated, but who cares as long as i can get pictures)...

And im going to comment about the story...

Overall..both performances are great and I enjoyed both..there is only a little bit difference maybe in the terms of the ambience and dialogues..like during the birthday scene, in the first show, the audiences sang along the birthday song and Shafiq was more dramatic compare the same scene in the last show...and i still prefer Aiman's script of "kedai nasi lemak yang sebelah dia kedai nasi ayam" which was missing in the second play..

Mira and Aiman were playing football game (first show) when Hafiz first called her compare to next show where Mira and Aiman were challenging badminton game to suit the situation (as at the moment of show was Thomas Cup final match), which led to Mira saying to Hafiz, " game ni tak pernah main pun tapi  menang juga"...

I guess pelakon-pelakon ni diberi sedikit kelonggaran dalam mewarnakan dialog masing-masing, and thats where the beauty of this show..the spontaneous that makes the show alive..

But actually yang menggamatkan drama ni adalah watak-watak Aiman, Shafiq dan Je(m)bol..

But i really admire Elza Irdalynna yang bawa watak Mira..she is such a star.. and her acting was A++..with her expression, body language and voice tone..everything..i just admire her..Oo, pada yang tak tahu Elza niadalah anak kepada Arwah Azean Irdawaty..dan dia memang banyak berlakon teater...well...ke mana tumpahnya kuah kalau tidak ke nasi kan??

So does Sharifah Aleysha yang menjayakan watak Nana, which also comes from keluarga berdarah seni...dua anak seni yang sememangnya mempunyai potensi untuk terus bersinar dalam dunia seni tanah air..

Love them..love them..love them so much..

In my view~ ACT is very simple story..sebagaimana adaptasi novel/buku ke layar atau pentas, mesti akan ada sedikit perubahan dalam jalan cerita..sebab seingat i masa Hafiz starts couple dengan Nana, masa tu Nana n Mira dah pindah g oversea, tapi dalam teater ni tak..

Cuma kelemahannya i rasa mungkin dari jalan cerita kot..simple sangat and kadang-kadang flow cerita tu macam tak link..(but that always happen in book adaptation)..and props yang sangat-sangat simple, termasuk  background yang dipaparkan dalam sesetengah scene, i nampak agak kaku (kecuali yang last part masa Nana n Kika kat tangga) .jika nak dibandingkan dengan my last teater ~ Layar Lara Salina..or teater2 USM dulu...and i wish i can see a part where Mira is wearing baju kotak-kotak with kasut chuck taylor as in the real story..because that is how i pictured Mira.

but that doesn't matter sebab tak mencacatkan storyline pun but i wish as professional they can produce better props and background...that's my sincere opinion..

For those food lovers, especially if you look for good sea food dishes, Jalan Alor is one favourite place to dine out..famous not only for Malaysians but also for foreigners.. a real street food ambience..a fantastic street food fiesta..

There are many restaurants along the road selling quite variety and choices..

This time we choose Meng Kiat Grilled Fish Restaurant which is famous for its stingray grilled..

Though we skipped the grilled fish this time but our table still full of other dishes..

Our menu for the night ~ Char Kue Teow, Black Pepper Mud Crab, Kam Cheong Lala, Butter Fried Squid, and Fried Baby Kailan..

I must say the crab is my favourite!!!

Looks a lot for two people, right? Oh yes, we finished it all..

Total damage include 2 cokes and a glass of chinese tea is RM160

RSMY Naan Cheese yang super awesome..

This is what i call as a diamond in the middle heart of KL..

I must this is the best naan cheese in Malaysia..or maybe in the world!! This restaurant was recommended by my hubby's friend..located near Jalan TAR 

I believe everyone knows Jalan TAR - a favourite shopping spree especially for ladies but i don't think many knows about this restaurant...exact location  is beside restoran nasi kandar Lotus.

We ordered naan cheese (a must have) and a chapati..for broth we choose 2 types which i cant remember the name of the menu ~ one is mutton and another one is chicken with chickpeas (kacang kuda)

The Naan Cheese is super heaven ~ you can see the melting cheese in between the bread, like pizza with extra cheese..

I cant explain more ~ by only looking at the pictures already make me feel hungry..

Mahbub Nasi Beriyani

This is one of our favourite beriyani in KL.. Lokasi opposite Bangsar Village, Bangsar. Apa yang best? Of course la nasi beriyani . Ada dua jenis nasi beriyani bukhara dan nasi beriyani ayam madu..serve satu set dengan acar timun dan dalca..atau boleh minta set kambing atau daging.. please bear yang setiap lauk tu sebenarnya boleh makan 2 orang..Selalu, we all minta 1 set je dan tambah satu lagi nasi..kecuali kalau sangat lapar, then baru order 1 set seorang..and for me, setiap kali makan tetap tak boleh nak menghabiskan nasi tu sepinggan..serius, banyak..so, for ladies ~ 1 set boleh makan untuk 2 orang..

Lain-lain menu best adalah sup dan tandori and lain-lain menu restoran mamak..

Manakala Roti Nan dia pulak..terbaek!! Lembut gebu.. 

Yang uniknya kat sini ada roti nan ayam dan daging..di mana ayam atau daging yang dicincang (beef flos) akan diletak antara roti..

Sebab apa we all suka? Sebab the only beriyani yang kat KL ni yang macam Restoran Hameediyah, Penang..oo, one more thing, nasi beriyani mamak tak sama macam nasi beriyani johor tu..hmm...kalau sapa yang biasa, mesti tau perbezaannya macam mana, which is tak berapa berempah..

Yong Tau Foo Kg Pandan ni actually salah satu tempat favourite my DH.

Apa istimewanya Yong tau foo kat sini, kita boleh minta sup instead of kuah pedas seperti kebiasaan.

For me, kalau nak ikutkan varietynya, tak de la banyak sangat cuma harganya murah...selalu kalau i and hubby berdua je makan kat sini, lebih kurang RM10 je termasuk air..

And, for me yang tak berapa favour sangat dengan yong tau foo, i must say kuah pedas dye agak sedap and ok...sup tu biasa-biasa je sebab macam rasa sup kiub ayam je...

Tribute Teater Tun Siti Hasmah

" Bermadu dengan perempuan, sakitnya ke dalam hati..bermadu dengan rakyat, sakitnya ada, manisnya pun ada"

Last weekend, I berpeluang untuk menyaksikan persembahan teater Tun Siti Hasmah di Istana Budaya.

Dah lama tidak menjejakkan kaki ke Istana Budaya. dulu, masa pementasan teate Tun Mahathir pun i tak sempat nak tengok. so, this time awal-awal lagi dah niat nak pergi tengok..Alhamdulillah, lepas je buat deco kat wangsamaju terus pergi beli tiket.

Nasib baik la ada lagi seat untuk persembahan malam tu, maklumlah malam minggu mesti full house kan

Start 8.30 malam, persembahan berlangsung selama dua jam non-stop..huhu, paling best i rasa masa zaman di kolej kot..sangat happening...masa tu Lisa and Nazim yang pegang watak utama..and they are so cute, okay!! Huhu, tak sangka juga Lisa boleh menyanyi...

 Then, antara babak yang paling terkesan adalah masa di hospital waktu PM nak kena operate..serius, Eja punya penghayatan watak extra superb..sampai terkesan kat hati ni dan buat i rasa nak menangis sama..terbayang cam tu la kot kalau DH i yang kena operate..
Overall, i must say, pemilihan pelakon yang tepat dan persembahan yang super best..and lagu OST nya pun sangat best..apa tajuknya, terlupa plak..

 Selepas pementasan, ada sesi autograf dengan para pelakon, tapi bukan semua la. Pelakon2 utama je termasuk la Azizah Mahzan (watak Siti Saleha-kakak kepada Siti Hasmah), Radhi Khalid, Syanie, Anne Abdullah (part last dye jadi Dato Shahrizat pulak), and Dhira (watak Marina dewasa). Of course la, i sanggup beratur untuk amik autograf tu. Cuma tak dapat nak gambar bersama sebab i datang sorg.takkan setiap kali nak cari orang suruh snap,plus semua pun busy ambil gambar sendiri ..tu pun snap gambar dengan handphone je...jadilah, janji dapat tengok lisa secara berdepan kan..

3Rd Anniversary Celebration

For our 3rd Anniversary, we had our diner at Coliseum Cafe, Jalan Tunku ABdul Rahman...

We all sampai dalam pukul 9 pm macam tu and tak ramai orang...APa yang I observed, most people yang datang situ more to chillax...

So, this is what we ordered:

For appetizer: Prawns Salad :

Main Dish For me : Sirloin Steak

For Dear, Beef Rib:

Overall, the food was nice..my steak was grilled the way i like it..and mushroom soup is so home made taste...

Price: reasonable and affordable..

Definitely a choice to come again...
